take care

“God gave burdens, he also gave shoulders.”     –   Yiddish Proverb

‘Take care’ an oft used sign off with little real affection intended but what do I mean when words applied to me or thee. Prompted today by watching another being unselfish to the point of exhaustion. Can you take care of others and neglect self or in so doing do you become a shadow of who you could be. Could point them in direction of usual staples – exercise, good food, sleep, friends but are they enough. Has the inner voice that helps you take care of yourself been silenced. A voice that is vocal enough in being clear, whatever you do it is not enough.

What to do. Take a moment for self. Here from internet wander a link. http://tinybuddha.com/blog/what-it-means-to-really-take-care-of-yourself/ A bit preachy but take from it what you can. What am I going to do to help myself?  Right now I’m going to call time and cue the blues.

Take care
